She is an on-hand illustrator for teen girl magazine Rookie Mag, which also incidentally makes me want to go back in time to my teenage years just to read the online articles and realize that I don't have to look & act like a Disney star in order to fit into young adult society... or that being 'weird' isn't really weird at all, its creative, fun and alive! Anyway...
Kelly is from good old Minnesota, studied at MCAD and currently shares a studio with her talented photographer beau Benjamin Innes and cat Pebbles. I got to collaborate with her last Friday which was quite a treat for her to take a break from her busy schedule to sit and draw with me while listening to records in her cute studio. So inspiring!
