This past week has been pretty busy, what with major life changes, new plans, forks-in-the-road, mistakes, and new doors opening. And while this was going on...
I had the pleasure of hosting graphic designer, photographer, and adventurer, Nicola Kane in my home during her stay in Seattle.
Nic's work spreads across many fields, from design, to screenprinting, photography (I love her pinhole photos above), illustration and even music - I got the chance to experience some pretty cool jam-outs last night in a sodo warehouse studio space.
She flew over from Bristol UK, to go on a journey this summer from Vancouver BC down the coast to San Francisco, making friends, taking photographs and generally being free along the way. (Needless to say, my inner escapist is very envious of her these days.) It was really enlightening to be around such a creative person, and I hope I see her again sometime.
