Raised in the northeasterly French countryside, and then moving around the world throughout her adulthood, Béatrice Peltre strives to make beautifully plated dishes full of interesting flavors, with often times an exotic French twist.
I've been following this lovely lady's recipe site for a couple of years now (unfortunately my dishes, when trying to be recreated, never turn out as artfully served as hers...of course.) But recently, upon re-browsing her website, (yes, I've been taking a break from seriously cooking, to try to make more artwork myself) -I learned she was recently featured on Martha Stewart's cooking show. So perhaps everyone in the whole world knows about her, but rightly so. And I'm still going to post about her because I just have to, I love her too much.
Read more about her here. And pick up her lovely book, La Tartine Gourmande: Recipes for an Inspired Life, its definitely worth a good look, and possible kitchen adventure.
